Just A Second is a vintage boutique that sells some beautiful dresses. If you like old time glam looks, they probably have it. It's not the place for those under 20 - unless vintage is your thing. While browsing recently, I heard two younger girls moaning over and over to their mom that they were in an old person's store. I couldn't help but smiling as I pulled out a gorgeous beaded sweater and held it up.
The Haute Chix Boutique is where I take my teenage nieces shopping. This is a young, hip store that thrives on hip, now clothing for practically nothing. They have a great selectioin of accessories and a young staff that knows how to help you accessorize. My nieces love this place and I love that I don't need to budget for my trips here. I've been able to walk away with complete outfits for under $75.
The Celtic collection at the Charriol store is my most favorite line of jewelry ever. I'm practically drooling over these pieces whenever I go in. I feel so fortunate to be able to own many of their pieces and rave to my family and friends about them. Their service is always top notch and they even send me postcards when they have new pieces that come in.
The Star Beauty Boutique is where I've been able to find the makeup I like at really good prices. I like this shop because they carry some off brands and are really good about giving out samples. I use the samples as stocking stuffers for my teenage nieces, which wins me lots of brownie points.
Willa's Unusuals is a fun place to shop. My family and I will go there to see what they've got out. Willa's isn't your ordinary clothing store - they have an unusual assortment of glam wear, casual wear and even some ethnic wear to add spice and flavor. I have gotten myself a couple of unusual wraps there and have seriously thought about a couple of their glam gowns.
Maricruz Bridal Boutique has been the venue for several of my brides when they've forgotten things at the last minute. I've been able to literally run in and out within minutes to pick up shoes, gloves, tiaras - and the women who work there are only too happy to accomodate my needs. I'm very thankful they've been so helpful to my clients.
The Belly Wrap Boutique & Spa is a hybrid. It caters to women of all ages, pregnant, not pregnant and is kind of a one stop med spa. They have services geared directly towards pregnant women, while offering botox and other injectibles as well. I've had some Restylane myself and have refered several of my pregnant clients to got there for a massage. It's unique in what they do, but it works.
I hate doing my own eyebrows so I let the Brow Boutique take care of them for me. I've gone elsewhere and have been plucked, threaded and even waxed, but my favorite place is here. This is all they do, but be warned - if you try to just walk in without an appointment, you won't get in. I've called ahead and sometimes had to wait 48 hours before being able to get in. They are that good.
When my brother decided to buy a dog, I went online and surfed for just the right gift. I love buying online and discovered the Decadent Dog Boutique. They saved me scads of time by being a comprehensive online store with great stuff. I ordered a bed, collar, leash and treats for not a lot of money and had them delivered. My brother loved everything.
When one of my clients insisted we have the sorbets made by Patrice of the Ice Dessert Boutique, I had little choice but to follow through. Patrice's wife, Regina and I talked extensively and was able to fulfil my client's request. The ice cream and sorbets Patrice concocts are out of this world good. My tasting with them was amazing; I've never tasted such pure, natural flavors. My client has very good taste to demand the best!
