I used to LOVE getting ice cream from here on those hot summer nights. They have a great variety of flavors from Moose Tracks to your standard sundae. They have pretty good portions too so be careful if your eyes are bigger than your stomach.
I've only been to Kelly's once (when the line for Sound Bites and Ball Cafe were awy to long) and I was pretty happy with my choice. The only downfall is they only take cash so make sure you have some. Granted there is an ATM machine there, my bank charges me 3 bucks extra, so if you go with cash, you'll be all set. I just had your standard 2 eggs, home fries and bacon breakfast. The portions were big and the home fries were really good.
My sister took me and my friends here when we went to visit her in NYC. First off, you really can't even understand how amazing these things are unless you go and try them yourself. They are a little pricey, but they are HUGE and are to die for! When you walk in and get in line, you're probably going to be there for at least 30 minutes just trying to decide which cupcake you should get. There are so many different kinds, its hard just to choose one! I've had the Bobba Boey which is amazing. The Grasshopper cupcake is also very good if you like mint. And of course, you can never go wrong with a classic Red Velvet. If you like chocolate and peanut butter...go for the Bobba Boey! AMAZING!
I stopped here to get my boyfriend a birthday dessert and was pleasantly surprised with what I ended up getting. He loves fruity treats and so I was able to find him a little cheese cake that had cherry topping on it. I then got a chocolaet eclare (more for myself) and was really happy with my choise. They always have such great cake designs in the window too, and I'm dying to try one of the bigger cakes.
When i was in college, this was our go-to Chinese Buffet. I'm not saying it was the BEST chinese food, but it did the trick for us back in the day. They keep it pretty well stocked and the price for a dinner is pretty low.
This place is right down the street from my sister and is usually our 'go-to' breakfast nook. Their menu is pretty big and you can get a burger or sandwich pretty early in the morning. Its pretty much your basic diner--good breakfast and they give you a huge helping of bacon if you order it. The servive has been really good all the times I've been there.
My boyfriend and I went to this place when we visited my sister who lives in NYC. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything much--kind of small and a little narrow, but there are some cool water fountains in the windows. We ended up having a great time here. We all ordered a couple of Saki Bombs and had dinner. A few of us had sushi and I had the Cashew Chicken. Soooo Goood! I had a pretty good exprience here and would definitely go back.
I recently went here when i visited my sister in NYC. We had a group of 5 girls and we all just decided on splitting 2 big pizzas. The pizzas were pretty good. Nothing too special which was kind of a let down. They did let us do half and half on both of them so that was good. The meatball pizza was ok--we just wish the meatballs were broken up more. The wine was good and the waitress let us stay there for quite awhile even after we finished. All in all, a good place, but not sure I'd run back there.
I really wasn't pleased with my food order from this place. After seeing them on the Phantom Gourmet and hearing all this talk about how big their subs are, I was unimpressed with my buffalo sub. It was not big by any means and I found myself still hungry after eating it. I guess my boyfriend got some wings/chicken fingers from here and those were good, but all in all, I was not impressed.
I love coming to this place! Not only does it have a great beer/drink selection, it also has a huge menu. I usually go for one of the sandwiches or salads, but their burgers are amazing. Also, where else can you get tater totts instead of fries? You can also go here to watch any game as they have a ton of TVs.
