This cafe is snugly located close to the local arts center and several international markets. Great selection of fresh-made items and great coffee.
Chicago Pizza is a nice local alternative to the chain deep-dish pizza restaurants. Toppings are fresh, cheese and tomato sauce are balanced just right. Makes a great lunch.
The decor is a little tired, but the service and the food makes up for it. The appetizer rub bucket is great. Good fries and sandwiches.
I've used Gary's office for my auto insurance for 10 years and my homeowners insurance for 5 years. No problems, responsive staff, returns calls quickly.
Took the dog there for a grooming appointment after a friend recommended this place. Staff was sitting on the counter eating pizzas, seemed kinda loud and unprofessional. Very small place for dog grooming. We decided not to go through with the appointment and left.
Parking can be hit-or-miss outside for lunch but usually is not a problem for dinner. Nice seating area. Good pad thai.
We stopped here on our way back home from Bar Harbor. It looked cute and quirky from the outside, with the potential of being one of those off-the-beaten-path great places. It was awful. The pancakes were dry with no flavor and no amount of syrup or butter could rescue them. The eggs came out with black flecks on them. The homefries were like cut potatoes with pepper sprinkled on them. We barely touched our food, paid and left.
This is a very small liquor store on Rt 2. It's selection is not large, and it's mostly used by locals and URI students because it's basically two miles from campus. Convenient for people who don't want to venture into town.
I made an appointment for them to look at my cat's tooth as it had become chipped off. My cat was already current on his shots. The vet came in, looked at the cat literally for a minute, said his tooth would be okay if he didn't show any sign of pain and watch for decay. Then I got slapped with a bill for the full visit fee. Seriously? I expressed my frustration at the desk and they basically responded with an "oh well."
I highly recommend using Roch's for your fruit and vegetable purchases. I find all the produce to be very fresh and to have a longer fridge/counter life than produce I get from Stop N Shop or Shaws.
