New Number One is my go to chinese food delivery place. Their food is so good, I'm a big fan of the chef specials. The delivery time is usually pretty minimal. The delivery guys are also very nice.
I love the King & I - they have a lunch buffet every day and on Fridays they have volcano chicken, which is my absolute favorite. The food is always fresh and it doesn't look like it's been sitting out for hours.
I love Joey Buona's. They have the BEST salads! I've had their other food, which I also think is really good, especially the pizza. The portions are huge, so you really get at least 2-3 meals out of it.
I had to change dermatologists due to insurance reasons, Dr. Bhatia was covered, so I thought I would try him out. It was a horrible experience. I have had bad acne for years and years, so I tried explaining to him what I've already tried and what I knew worked. Instead of listening to me, he decided he wanted to start me on just a topical cream and a birth control different from what I had previously taken. I had acne that required an oral pill of some kind, but he didn't listen to me. The topical was also something I had tried before and didn't work. I tried telling him, but he wouldn't listen and said I would have to try what he wanted and if it didn't work I would have to come back. I was over "trying things out" I had already done that, and I KNEW what worked. He was prescribing things I had tried when I was 14, at the time I was 23. It was very frustrating, and of course my skin didn't get any better. I found a new doctor who listened to me, and am SO much happier.
I am originally from the fox cities, and was sad to have to find a new dermatologist in Milwaukee, because I really loved mine. I went to one, who I absolutely hated. He didn't listen to me at all and prescribed me whatever he felt like, which didn't work, which upset me even more. I didn't want to have to find a different one, but my skin was getting bad enough, that it was just necessary. That's when I found Dr. Rosenberg. He was part of my insurance network, and I was able to schedule my appointment a day or two after I called. He was very nice, listened to what I had already used and been through and gave me a few different options, but it was up to me. He wasn't going to force me to do what HE wanted. I had a few hiccups with prescriptions at first, but once it was all figured out, I saw him monthly, and my skin is better than ever. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dermatologist.
It's been a few years since I've gone here, and the last time I went I swore I would never go back. I got a coupon in the mail for a free cut and color with a new stylist. Obviously I wanted to set up an appt! Well, when I called to set one up, I wasn't able to get an appointment for 2 weeks, which just happened to be after the expiration date on the coupon (which I told the receptionist I had) When I got there, I thought it looked like a nice place. When the girl was in the middle of coloring my hair, she asked why I decided to come and I told her about the coupon. She then told me she would be right back, and came back to tell me that they would not honor my coupon because it was expired. The owner, was the one who said this. I was obviously upset. I told them, that I told the receptionist about the coupon and she never said it wouldn't be valid. I figured because I was making the appointment before the expiration date, it wasn't my fault I had to wait two weeks. So they tried to give me a "deal", which was from the stylist, because she felt bad, not from the owner. And to top it all off, I hated my hair color. I told them I wanted a auburn, brown-ish red, NOT an orange based red. It looked nice when I left but after I washed my hair maybe twice, it was orange, ORANGE orange! So not happy with this place, will NEVER go back.
I used to live in the 3rd Ward, and I loved tanning here. The prices were very reasonable. The staff was super friendly, and I rarely ever had to wait for a bed. I would usually buy a month at a time, which would give you unlimited tanning, along with free upgrades. It's a great place, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place in the 3rd Ward.
I went to Maxie's last month and had a great experience. The waitress was really great. She was dressed in a big hat because it was derby weekend. They had some great specials for the occasion also. She was very helpful with the menu, made great suggestions, and was just all around great. The food was really delicious. The appetizer wasn't very big, but the main meal was plenty. It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to a friend for sure!
I love Ultimate Sun. The employees are always nice. When I wanted to try out a new lotion, the girls working were very eager to help me, showed me a few different options, told me what they liked and what they didn't. The beds are the nicest I've used and it's always very clean. Prices are the best as well. I absolutely love this place!
