The mustard's not the only thing that's got a bite in this Deli! Owner Mel-a-knee did stand-up comedy on tour and puts together Comedy Night during summertime. Her sandwiches are man-sized and as fresh as Mel-a-knee's tongue, always served with sides that will leave you groaning to polish off. You can call ahead and get a fine picnic to take with you out to Trinity Lake, pull in on your scooter and dine in or take it with. You just have to appreciate this woman owned biz!
Traveling on Hyway 299 between Eureka & Redding, CA you'll come upon Weaverville's Saw Mill Bar & Grill at the south end of town. Stop in for a tasty meal, imbibe your favorite beverage, and watch a bit of your favorite sport in the handsomely appointed bar section. You can bring your buds, your Mom, or your kids to this fine establishment. Your hostess/owner Nancy will make you feel as at home as she has the locals for more than two decades. Recently re-built after a fire, The Saw Mill still feels like the old place, just re-upholstered.
I went in with the most horrid sinus infection. It was on a Sunday morning. I was third in line. I waited about 15 minutes, was shown into an exam room. The doc was attentive, listened to me, did his exam, told me how to take the script for an antibiotic that he was writing. When I asked for a yeast infection preventative, he prescribed that for me as well. I took the prescriptions to have them filled. I thought it would be faster than needing to burden the busy nursing staff. I am definitely recommending this Sunset Urgent Care site.
