Many assortments of ice cream and italian ices... too sweet for my taste although it's good on a hot summer day.
How can anyone give less than five stars for this vinyl and figurines toy store? Although it feels more like a museum than store, watch out for the amazing sales that happen throughout the year especially on Black Friday! I picked up a limited edition Dunny at half price then. Parking can be hard, but try street up front or the side streets.
Open 24 hours... love to come to this place in the middle of the night when there's nothing open. They make fresh hot/cold sandwiches all day long and their coffees are great!
This has been my favorite Thai restaurant in the area, practically every dish is delicious and worth trying. My last visit I ordered the crispy pork belly dish (skin was really crispy and yummy), garlic spare ribs (meaty), and the pad kee mow dish. If you ask for spicy, they really do add heat to the dishes, so be careful. Also, get the Tom Yum soup here...its one of the best!
This is our favorite local Pho joint - the portion size is generous, taste is consistent, and the prices cheap. Service is always attentive.
Since Busy Bee is nestled among the neighborhood inside streets, it can be a hidden gem, but if you ask any local in San Pedro where to find amazing sandwiches, they will most likely point you here. There's always a line out the door during lunch times but its well worth the wait. The pastrami, italian sausage, roast beef dip, are my favorites...ask for it HOT even if its a cold cut and they will soak the meat in the au jus and pour some marinara sauce over the meat. Prices are reasonable, running about $7 a sub that you can be split into 2 meals even for a hungriest person.
Ahh...waiting more than 30+ minutes in line for burgers, fries, and onion rings and it's not In-N-Out, then there's something wrong there. The burgers were overcooked, thus dry on the inside; the order of french fries w/ onion rings were great though. But the menu is very limited and I would have preferred the meat be better seasoned.
This sushi restaurant may be small and a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is great for after work for dinner with sake in hand watching the game on their flat screen tv or enjoying a meal with the family. Opt for the sushi combination dinners - the sushi is generous and fresh, batter for tempura not too heavy or light and fried just right. Even though it was just one waitress, she was attentive to everyone.
