Armadillo has all the poor qualities of a chain without being one. The food is sub par and the service wasn't that great last i went. I really enjoy mexican food and this just wasn't what I expected aftering hearing how great the place was.
Casa grande mexican restaurant is a great place to eat in a terrible location. Last I went the place was deserted from what seems like bad marketing. The bar and establishment looks beautiful and the food is quality, even if it is a bit pricey.
I eat here quite often and have to say the food quality is great. They make things to order and aren't afraid to make things spicy if that's what you're into. The staff can be a bit strange at times but its safe to assume its due to cultural differences. This is the best sushi in longmont and their miso soup is delicious.
Oskar blues is a mix between terrible food and beer and the best atmosphere in longmont. The setting is amazing, they have an excellent out door patio, great patrons, a full bar and live music. However, they also have terrible quality food and their home brewed beer, which is mostly all you can get with the exception of 3 or 4 other brews, all taste disgusting. If you drink mixed drinks and want to hang out with some friends, its perfect for you.
Royal Wok feels a bit outdated even for a chinese restaurant. The food is mediocre and there is this creepy old fish that stares at you while you eat. It's very quiet so conversation is awkward because the place is usually empty. IF you must eat here, get take out.
China panda is such a delicious place to eat and they keep closing it down for rennovations. If you find it open stop in, they're typical chinese but its delicious!
This is an old bar with even older patrons. I went in and was instantly blacksheeped. If you don't have an AARP card, stay out.
7 west is kind of a toss up. Half of the place looks like a fancy restaurant and the other half looks like a sports bar. The food is bland, the pizza choices aren't very creative even if they are homemade. The prices are good however, and so is the atmosphere. They're building a rooftop bar as well.
Thirsty's is a decent place to grab some booze before going to the game. The location isn't bad and the staff are friendly.
Not the best bar in terms of service or price. The atmosphere is typical of a crowded downtown bar. They have a jukebox that plays nearly everything and some run down pool tables.
