Dr. Kohen saw my mother when she was having pain in her hip and leg. After some xrays, he came concluded that she had some mild arthritis, nothing to be too concerned about. He wrote a prescription for physical therapy and Motrin. Three days later, her hip broke and we could not reach him or anyone else in his practice group. We found another ortho surgeon, who replaced her hip and told me that her hip bone was like eggshell due to osteoporosis. He showed me on the xray that her bones were clearly brittle. Somehow Dr. Kohen couldn't see this a few days before when we could have scheduled the surgery, sparing my elderly mother the pain and stress of a spontaneous fracture.
The first time we went to Red Knapp's we had just come back from a trip to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, and the lodge-style decor reminded us of the places we'd enjoyed out west. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff are welcoming and the menu has a good variety at reasonable prices. A great neighborhood restaurant!
