I was a patient for around 5 years and probably ignored a few red flags along the way b/c of I thought he cared about his patients, I was stunned to find the truth was just the opposite. I was ultimately faced with much more than just a red flag. I will live my life regretting ever ending up in his office.
Be wary of (multiple) unnecessary diagnosis, surgeries, doing procedures without consent. Find an MD with an undergraduate degree who graduated from a real medical school. Find someone who has colleagues who will work closely with them, how many obgyn's are in a practice by themselves? He used to be in a group but no longer is..with reason. Just b/c an MD says he is a specialist doesn't mean he is, nor has done training or fellowships for that specialty ie. pain management or even pelvic surgery.
It is your body and your health, ask questions, do research and get a second opinion. It could save your life or save you from a life of pain and disability.
Bottom line: please, find another obgyn or at the very least get another opinion. He's so not worth what you are risking.. no matter how nice he seems.
