I was a little concerned about ordering fabric online, but when I couldn't find the long pile fur I wanted, Distinctivefabric.Com was it. You can order a swatch of any of their material, which I did. The only reason this worked for me was because I wasn't in a hurrry and could afford to wait for the swatch. I was very happy and placed my order with confidence. Everything was very smooth.
I was looking for some specific silk thread and couldn't find it anywhere. I was hoping Kristi's would have it or at least be able to give me an idea on where I could locate it. No such luck. The person I spoke to was incredibly rude and barely gave me any response at all.
The Gypsy's Palace has an incredible collection of very high end, high dollar fabrics. I've gone in there before just to look and stare. I would love to have them make some custom curtains for me, but the price, well, it's prohibitive. I'd rather invest that kind of money into vintage clothes or shoes.
Suzanne's Fabrics has a lot to choose from, but the people who work there need an attitude adjustment. I'm sure it's trying working with the public, but I nearly got my head bit off when I asked where some notions were. If you want people to return to your store, treat them nicer.
I often think about giving my kitchen a mini facelift, especially when I see the transformations on HGTV. My mom found Kitchens Plus and after looking at what they could do, we talked to them. I would seriously love to proceed with them (super nice with lots of info), but I'm not home enough right now to enjoy my kitchen, much less make it over. I'll put their information on my fridge to be looked at again sometime down the road.
Show me where there's an outlet store, and you can soon find me there! The Swimwear Outlet is one of the store you are sure to find me at looking around for the perfect suit. Since we're in the thick of summer (finally), I decided to celebrate the heat with several new suits. I can afford to buy several here because of the more than reasonable prices the Outlet charges. My only complaint - they need to tidy things up inside.
I tried the Royal Jelly from Everhealth Vitamins and just wasn't satisfied with it. The price was on the high side, but I had a better effect with Nature's Sunshine. Maybe it's because I had used Nature's Sunshine for so long. Whatever the cause, the effect with the Everhealth Vitamin wasn't the same.
I loved the convenience of having Papa's Organic home deliver their fresh produce to me, but when work got busy and was sending me all over the place, I had to cancel it. Bummer for me. Their organic, fresh produce is fantastic and absolutely delicious. I've never found any other place that has better quality produce.
I went to Zeenas Nutrition to see about some glutamine powder. I've always been a fan of the powdered form to mix in my water twice a day. I'm always on my feet, I'm usually in stilletos and it's a workout. Zeena's didn't have what I was looking for, but the guy in the shop was very friendly and gave me some other supplements to consider.
I've found some surprisingly good things at the Blue Moon. I like thrift stores as long as they aren't dirty. Blue Moon isn't at all and is very well organized. I didn't have a plan when I entered, but soon found myself enlisting the help of the guy at the register. I soon had a sweater, a purse, jewelry and a vase that was coming home with me.
