Leaky Roof Pub & Grill
This place is great! The food is definitely comfort food with some upscale items as wel - meatloaf, beer battered fish and chips, Irish stew, osso bucco... the list goes on. The service is good, though they do take their time. Parking is horrible in this area of town, and this restaurant is always busy. So get there early or pick a different place. Overall great food though!
Maiphai Thai NW
This place is great - even if you don't like Thai food. Try the pineapple fried rice, which comes in a half pineapple, spiced to your liking. It is the best! The curry is very good as well. The staff is awesome. If you have a big party call ahead and reserve a table in the loft area which overlooks the main dining area. Really a great place for lunch or dinner!
Irish Town Bar & Grill
This is a fun place to go, especially on holidays and most weekends when they have a live band playing. The staff is nice, though not overly outgoing. The food is what you would expect in a bar - not great, but when you're drinking it hits the spot plus its the right price. Big plus is that they always have Irish drinks on hand!
Sextant Bar & Galley
This is the place to go if you want to sit outside, watch the boats on the water and enjoy a beer on a great summer day! This place is packed though and the parking is sometimes cramped, but the staff is friendly and the service is what you would expect in a packed bar. The food is ok - good enough to eat and priced accordinly. Overall a fun place to go!
Nies Insurance
Nies has been a good insurance company to work with. They get back to me with answers to my questions typically within a couple hours or a day. There is always someone there to talk with, however, most likely it will not be the agent you have been working with. My biggest problem is trying to talk with my agent, who never seems to be available or even in the office. Overall great insurance agency to work with though.
McMenamins Black Rabbit Restaurant
The Black Rabbit is a great restaurant located at McMenamins Edgefiled. The murals and decorations are typical McMenamins style, showing the history of Edgefield in color and whimsy. This restaurant is a little more than the typical pub fare that McMenamins is known for at its other restaurants. The food is NW cuisine that can be shared with the wonderful wines from the property as well as the surrounding area. Overall, great food, great service all with the typical McMenamins stamp of good fun and entertainment.
McMenamins Black Rabbit Restaurant
This place is awesome. Whether you go for a drink at the Power Station Pub, or dinner at the Black Rabbit you will not be disappointed. The food is great pub food and the atmosphere is whimsicle McMenamins. Don't miss the winery or the distillery while you are there! And with all that drinking and eating you should definitely stay in a room - which again is decorated McMenamins style! People are friendly, and the place is just great!

I went in for an emergency appointment to see Dr. Johnson. I had a really long wait until I was finally called back to see her. She was really informative and helped me understand what I needed to do to feel better. She really explained this in depth, which helped me understand better what was happening. Overall a good doctor to go to when you have an emergency, especially if you want a explanation of what's going on not just a prescription.

Not a bad dentist at all... I went in for him to evaluate and I walked out with the work done. That's pretty good dentist work, plus I had no problems with the work he performed. He explained what was wrong, fixed it and billed my insurance company - without me having to do anything special.

Dr. Vessely is an amazing physician. She really helps you understand what is happening as well as introducing you to new technologies and treatments for your disease. She is very helpful and she really goes the extra mile (taking phone calls, faxes and email from you weekly). She is a great doctor to have on your side.
