Hair Ages
This place does a great job of getting you in and out in a timely fashion. I went in without an appointment and they were able to help me out right away. The hair dresser I had was very friendly and helped me select a ??new look?. They are very opinionated on what you should do with your hair, so if you are a push over you might want to go somewhere else. But if you can stick to your ideas and wants then you will walk away with a great haircut and a positive experience.
Accounting Department
My whole family goes to Julie at the Accounting Department to get our taxes done. She is really great ?? even taking the extra time to go over details with us to try and help us understand our taxes. The price is really great too! She makes the whole process of doing your taxes less stressful and takes another task off my plate. I would definitely recommend getting an appointment to get your taxes done here early every year!
Red Lion Hotel Vancouver At The Quay
This place is a little rundown, but how can you pass up the view! Ask to sit on the window and you won??t even notice the interior of the building. The food is quite good and the dessert is amazing! The wait staff are very helpful, although sometimes they take a little long to check on your table. But again with the view that you get from the windows overlooking the Columbia, who cares how long you sit there. Overall I would say this is a great place to have dessert and watch the ship sail by!
Chopsticks Restaurant
I have never eaten in the restaurant, I have only come in to pick up take out. The food was really good and the staff that took my order were very friendly. The restaurant looks a little run down, and the location is hard to get in and out of, but overall I would say the food is worth it. If you go there for nothing else order the egg rolls, which were great! Definitely a place to order take out from!
Portland Meadows Golf Course
This course is interesting if for no other reason than it is in the middle of Portland Meadows racetrack. The wholes are fairly easy without much difficulties or challenges. The price is competitive with our courses in the area. Overall, I would say that this is a good course for someone that may not play all the time and just wants to go have some fun!
Hartwood Golf Course
This executive par three golf course is really fun. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. I took my husband there on his birthday last year and asked the staff to help me out with a surprise for him and they were more than happy to help. I would say if you are looking for a little more challenging (though not too much) golf course in the Clark County area this place is great. It is a little far outside of the city, but definitely worth the drive.
Tri-Mountain Golf Course
This course is awesome! The water and sand features are really challenging on some holes, but really they just add to the challenge of the whole course. In addition to being just difficult enough to appreciate, the course is actually quite beautiful and well maintained. The club house has an ok snack bar for that break in between the front and back nine, plus if you lose anything (such as the golf balls I always seem to lose) they have a fairly well stocked golf store as well. I would say this course has just about everything ?? now if only the drink cart would come around more often!
Cathedral Tapatia
My husband and I went to this restaurant one night more to satisfy our curiosity than anything else, however we were surprised by how good the food and staff were. The restaurant is decked out in the typical Mexican restaurant way, bright colors and Mexican art on every surface. The real surprise came with the food. It was great! They start you off with chips and salsa, and their own chopped mushroom and cilantro dip. It was really good and something that you don??t get everywhere. The food just got better after that! It was a lot of food, so if you don??t plan on taking some home you might want to split a meal with your spouse. Really good food, at quite an inexpensive price! I would definitely go there again!
Pine Crest Golf Course
I have been playing at this course for years. The price is great for a quick, par three course. The holes are challenging if you??re a beginner and help you stay in shape if you are seasoned player. Either way you go this place is great for a Saturday morning game. The course is well taken care of and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Westside Golf Range
If you are looking for a quick place to practice your drive this is the place to go. The range is well taken care and the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the game of golf. Plus, should you need to check out a club before buying it they have a well stocked club house with clubs, gloves and other golf accessories that you can try out and buy.
