Mon Ami
This coffee shop is situated right on Main Street and has some of the busiest weekend traffic in the summertime. However, if you manage to find a parking spot close by, or walk there from nearby, you will have a chance to have some ok coffee. It is nothing too special. I think the best park about this coffee shop is that is has art shows periodically, and the artist leave their painting/photography/masterpieces up around the coffee shop for a few weeks following their shows. I have had the pleasure of going to a show at this place, and let me tell you it was cramped and small. The art work, however was wonderful and the wait staff let you peruse the show in peace. So, if you want mediocre coffee and the ability to see some yet to be discovered artist this is the place to go? but try it in the winter or possibly on a weekday to avoid the traffic of Main Street. And if you get an invitation to a show, by all means go.
Jerusalem Restaurant & Cafe
I love this restaurant! As soon as you sit down you are brought a wonderful hors d'oeuvre that I swear could be the whole meal! Order a side of Hummus to go with it and it could be your meal. This location looks a little rundown, but don??t be put off by the dcor. The food is absolutely amazing ?? I always ordered the Chicken of Fire with Tahini and it is wonderful, that is if you can eat it after the complimentary hors d??oeuvre. I always have to take some to go. Considering the abundance of food, the price is very low. On a word of warning, this restaurant is very busy at lunch time, so plan on going to lunch early (before 11:30) or late (after 1:00 PM). Otherwise expect to wait.
Hye's Deli Park
This deli is small, a little expensive, and the menu never changes. I can always expect to get Lasgna on Monday, Chili on Thursday and Clam Chowder on Friday. And even though the order may seem expensive, you are getting a ton of food ?? sometimes enough for two days of lunches. No matter what though, this family deli is welcoming and enjoyable. Stella, the face of the business, who seems to be there every day, is amazing. She will remember your name, what you like to order and information about your life. It??s not like you are going to just another deli, it like visiting family for one of the important meals of the day.
John N. Oppenheimer, MD
This is a great doctor. He is really personable and gets to know you, plus he remembers what you tell him on your next appointment no matter how long ago you told him. Either that is great note taking on his part or he has a great memory! The only thing that I would say, and I??m not sure this is the doctor??s fault possibly this is the clinics fault, is that I do end up having to wait a really long time once I get to the appointment. This has happened with other doctors at the same clinic, so I am thinking it is a scheduling issue not a doctor issue, but I could be wrong. I do know that most of my appointments are not rushed, this doctor really takes the time to question me and fill me in on my condition. I guess I have one more thing, I never see this doctor when I schedule an urgent appointment. He always is booked completely almost every day, and when I schedule appointments it is usually a few weeks out before they can find anything. I personally think that means he is a good doctor with a large patient base, but it may be a problem if you want to speak to only your physician. Overall great doctor!
