I recently had my wedding reception at the Arroyo Room. It was fabulous, the food was great! The owner, Sandy was nice to work with, she had some great ideas and always got back to me in a timely manner. We didn't have to do any table set up or clean up. It was a very stress free event which was great!
The cons were that it was kind of hot (that's what you get for an August wedding) and parking downtown was difficult for some of the guests.
It is an old building which means that you have all the great arcitecture and ambience but also means that you deal with some of the not so great things about old buildings (the bathrooms). You got to take the good with the bad and the good was definitely worth having the bad.If you want someone to take care of the little details and give you a great reception I would definitely recommend the Arroyo room!
I got my wedding cake from Mim's. Melissa the owner was great to work with! We did a dessert bar and she knew about how much to order and she did the delivery and set up (for a fee) but it was well worth the peace of mind. Walking into the reception hall and seeing the gorgeous desserts was so nice! Tasting the desserts was even better:). I would definitely recommend Mim's for any occastion!
I went to Giada for my wedding hair and makeup. The Salon staff was so nice and organized. They knew exactly how long it would take for all of the wedding party to get the services they wanted done. I got out of the salon at the exact time they said I would! My hair looked amazing and the whole expierence was stress free. I would definitely recommend Giada for wedding hair, makeup and nails
