I am the mother of the Bride. New Natalie's was recommended by our wedding planner. My daughter and I went there knowing which dress we wanted. Jeanie (the owner) placed the order for our dress and we paid in full. We were notified a few days later that they would not be able to get our dress, so we settled for the "Sample" dress that they had in the store. Jeanie assured us she would "take care" of us if we took the sample. We made an appt to meet with Jeanie and take a look at the sample dress. First of all, she was not there when we went back for our appt. Her husband met with us, and did not offer ANY discounts, cleaning or help with alterations since we were purchasing the sample. he was rather rude to us.
We decided to wait and speak with Jeanie. Jeanie assured us they would clean and press the dress as well as put the designer name tag back in.
We picked up the dress today. It is STILL dirty on the inside, the alterations were done horribly!! I would post pictures if i could. We are now having to take the dress tomorrow morning to another seamstress, and then the cleaners.
Bottom line: While they do offer great prices. The stress is just not worth it. We are right back where we were the day we saw the dress in the store, and the wedding is a week away.IF you must buy from them....
Do NOT let them do your alterations. Get your dress and RUN!!
