Carla at Elevations Day Spa is the best for mani/pedi's. The whole staff at the spa is wonderful, caring, and efficient.
The Sawdust Festival is a summer must do in southern California. We enjoy roaming around, watching the glass blower, having lunch in the little food court, and taking our granddaughters to the arts and crafts area.
There is nothing quite as good as a date shake at the Shake Shack on PCH. Awesome views, rustic charm.
Excellent little shop for cake decorating supplies. Well stocked and the staff is friendly and eager to help a novice home decorator.
When other markets were low on inventory during the strike a few years ago, Staters was always well-stocked. Great vegetable selection and excellent customer service.
Fresh and Easy has become my "go to" market for everyday shopping. The fruits and veggies are fresh, the tasting kitchen gives you great ideas, and the selection is great.
Barona has done a wonderful job in the design and landscaping of its casino/resort. Lots of choices in gaming but it really shines in its restaurants ... both in price and quality. The Sage Cafe is excellent and always delicious.
I've been dining at Walters since the 1970's. It's the place I meet old friends to catch up these days and it never disappoints. Always a pleasure to eat there.
Where's the Party is the place I go to find that special event item no one else has. Fantastic invitation department. Upscale and fun to browse around in.
Kujo's owner and dog add a special English pub feel to the restaurant. Fantastic salad dressing and a BLT that can't be beat! Decor is a bit worn but comfortable.
