Dr. Brent Cox has been the most effective, personable, well trained and informed psychiatrist, or any type of MD, I have met during my 63 years of life. Dr. Cox stays informed of the most up to date medications, treatments and studies available.He is infinitely patient in exploring every avenue that might help his patients. His willingness to really listen to and respect the patient's feelings and needs is remarkable. Dr. Cox has always been willing to go the extra mile and not give up on even the most challenging of cases...mine included. When other doctors were telling me they had tried everything to help me and perhaps my hopes of recovery were unrealistic and I should simply adapt to being dysfunctional, Dr. Cox told me to hang in there and we would find a solution.
