After seeing what Randall and Joyce Jacobsen did to their home on E. Jackson St. while visiting Sow N Sews Custom Sewing, we asked them where they were getting most of their landscaping done or supplies.
They told us about Ashton Farms Nursery in town, and now we have been able to find most every thing we want for our home and business there as well.
Great location, good parking, competitive pricing, very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Often after getting sewing done at Sow N Sews, or making a purchase at Prairie Creek Pawn, we may come this way for a Subway, and still want something more, and this place feeds our sweet tooth very well, and they have great coffee as well.
Its just up the street from where we have been and on the way to where we are going, great parking, good friendly service, and fantastic product at a very reasonable price.
My brother and I are picky, and when we pick something it is for good reasons to us. Subway is one such place, you can't go wrong, with their menu, you get it built the way you like it, at a very fair price, and it is ready very fast.
We like this location after it opened because it is not too far from Sow N Sews or Prairie Creek Pawn, and if we are in a hurry and want something on the go, this is the place we usually choose.
It's a bit tricky getting it to park, but every thing else is what you expect from Subway, And its an easy thing to get back out to the bypass. Or up to McGalliard.
This caf is one my Brother and I choose while visiting Prairie Creek or Sow n Sews, and aside from Pizza King we like this caf best of all in the area for pretty much everything else.
Good friendly staff, good American fare eats, decent prices, good hours.
Could use more space and parking, but still we are served fast, and the food has always been good. and hot; well done to our tastes.
Over the years my brother and I have become regulars here, we always seem to find what we are looking for and if it is not in stock Adam can usually order it in and we always get what we like at a very fair price.
Plus, ammo does not seem to be a problem there as it is some of the shops in the area.
We like it that we don't have to wait for a Gun Show to come to the area; and usually we take our purchases over to Sow N Sews and get custom rifle slings and holsters of any type made to fit just the way we like.
Definitely recommend this place, for the hardware and Ammo, and Sow N Sews for the slings and holsters.
My brother and I like to eat lunch or dinner here as it is the best Pizza in Muncie, and we can take our sewing projects into Sow N Sews, drop them off, come over here to have lunch or dinner, and they will be ready of pick up.
We miss the army navy surplus being together with Sow N Sews anymore, but who needs an excuse to come here to eat!
Good parking, good selection, competitive, and close to everything we do on the east side of Muncie.
I have taken project after project here, everything from rifle slings to tow straps, tie downs to tents, and had many different types of holsters, and hand gun fanny packs/pouches made here over the years.
Randall has made hunting bags for me, repaired suspenders, and tree stand carry shoulder straps for me, and custom made dog leads. Repaired or replaced my wifes purse straps and zippers, our winter parkas zippers and sleeping bags zippers.
We have had Randall make cell phone holders, I-Pad belt pouches, camera pouches, and fixed and folding knife sheaths, and tool pouches, and do jeans hemming for us; and he is always fair, reasonable, and fast, with most things done while we watch, or run an errand and come back to pick them up.
He is now retired and prefers to work afternoons, is on a cash and carry basis only (No checks or card of any type) and does give receipts, Good parking, well situated to be found, No . . . Bathroom, and not handicap equipped for access.
Always best to call ahead and know for sure he will be available to do sewing projects. 765-747-1934 (H) or 765-760-7697 (ATT-C), or you can drop it off to his wife Joyce if she is available.
