My story: on December 24th I began to experience pain in my left glut and over the next 10 days it moved into my hip joint, down the back of my thigh and calf, into my ankle, I felt a pins and needles sensation in my foot, and then it became numb. I tried my regular chiropractor first with no relief. Then my primary care doc put me on some anti-inflammatory meds, which only helped a little. After SIX WEEKS and two sets of X-rays, he finally referred me to a back specialist who finally ordered an MRI. It was not good news. I herniated both of the disc's below L4 and L5 with the L5-S1 disk extruded and fragmented, a total blowout and compressing the (Sciatic) nerve root. After no help from physical therapy and three separate steroidal spinal injections, and trying to avoid surgery I began to explor other options. I learned about a procedure called Spinal Decompression Therapy. I researched and contacted SEVERAL PLACES, all of whom wanted to charge me THOUSANDS of dollars to put me on their fancy machines (DRX9000 or SpineMed). Finally, on a last ditch effort, I called Dr Mudryk's office. And questioned them in detail about the procedure and billing as the other places seemed to lead me down that sales pitch road just to get me into the office. Dr Mudryk actually came in for me EARLY the next morning and met me about 15 minutes before his practice normally opens. After a good look over he put me on his machine (Triton DTS). I swear that I knew then and there this would work for me as the first time that machine stretched me out was the first time I had no pain in over three months. Now it is no miracle, it took many visits over 8 weeks to get me completely pain free, but it was well worth it. And billing as a normal procedure saved me thousands of dollars. Dr "Dan" as he likes to be called was genuinely interested in me and my well being and took the time each and every visit to make sure I was taken care of. Dr Dan also uses a more gentle style of chiropractic care that does NOT have you getting twisted up like a pretzel and popping all over, which I liked. I have referred several friends/co-workers to the practice and they all love it!!!!
