I can't believe nobody has reviewed this place yet! In my opinion, it's the best place in town to buy cigarettes. It's not perfect, but what is? Perfection doesn't exist. I still love it anyway. They have the lowest prices that I know of, they've never been out of my 'usual' (not that I know of anyway), they do more than just sell tobacco/tobacco products, and the guys that work there have always been absolutely great. They're always polite, always helpful, and are never short on smiles.
I can't say I agree with Joyce B's review. In my experience, though the service at Anderson Auto is thorough and affordable, I cannot say that I truly believe it is honest.
My parents have been taking cars to Anderson Auto since... I honestly couldn't say for sure. It is the first automotive shop in my memories though and in all the years my parents took their cars to Anderson, they never had a complaint.
Unfortunately, once I started driving I noticed a disturbing trend. My car would be taken in to get something fixed, and it would be fixed. However, a week later, something else would go wrong and I'd have to bring it back in to get fixed again. Then when the second problem was fixed, something else would go wrong. My dad always told me it was just a coincidence, but I finally insisted that my car go to a different shop the next time. Once or even twice is a coincidence, but this went on for years. Common sense implies that it??s no coincidence. So when the next time came, I took my car to a different shop and...
Surprise, surprise, they fixed the problem and that was it. I didn't have to bring my car back less than a week later because something else had gone wrong. Then the next time I had a problem, I brought my car back to the new shop again and the same thing happened... They fixed the problem and I wasn't back within a week with a new problem.
Perhaps my experiences with Anderson Auto are just coincidences. Perhaps multiple things were just waiting to go bad one right after another. I don??t know, I??m not a mechanic. But like I said, once or even twice is a coincidence, more is? Questionable at the very least.
I don't want to outright accuse Anderson Auto of being dishonest, but I do not feel right saying they are honest either. All I will say is that it's odd that my experiences with multiple issues stopped when I stopped bringing my car to Anderson and I will never bring a car there again.
I learned to love and trust Alpine Veterinary when my parents brought our cat there when I was younger. As an adult, I live with two cats, and it's the only place I'll bring them. One of my cats is very temperamental and can be extremely difficult to handle. Naturally she's never happy to go to the vet, but she tolerates everyone at Alpine Veterinary extremely well (for her at least), especially Dr. Sanderson. He seems to have the magic touch when it comes to my darling demon kitty. :P
There is no doubt in my mind that the people at Alpine Veterinary adore animals and go out of their way to make sure that any animal in their care gets a good dose of TLC in addition to their medical care. They also treat the people well. After more than a decade in customer service, I'm a tad sensitive to that kind of thing and have been known to find the tiniest fault in customer care. However, I have NEVER had an issue with the people at Alpine Veterinary. They have always been very friendly and extremely courteous... Something that is often lacking in today's society.
Overall, I can honestly say that I can't imagine taking a pet anywhere except Alpine Veterinary and I'd recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality, affordable, and loving pet care.
