I recently took my yorkie to Sunridge Animal Hospital to get fixed. Seemed like a routine visit, until I found out my dog had cancer. When Dr. Stone began the examination, she found a small tumor on his underbelly. I was in a panic. I had never experienced this before. Dr. Stone was really patient and talked me through everything. She assured me that it was small enough that they should be able to excise it and Galileo would be fine. Though I was very anxious about the big "c" word, Dr. Stone was very sweet. Galileo had to stay overnight for surgery and recovery, but the whole thing went very well. I am so thankful to them for everything, especially at this time of year. Thank you Dr. Stone!
I was dog sitting for a friend while she was out of town on vacation. I have never owned a dog before in my life, and my house is not dog-proof. I left the dog alone for an hour and a half while I went out to lunch, and came back to find Angel had gone through the trash can and eaten everything he could find. I had no idea what to do! I rushed him down to the clinic. The staff was really nice and did a great job of calming me down. Angel was checked out by Dr. Kempf. He ran a few tests to make sure Angel didn't get into anything too serious. Dr. Kempf spoke with me for a while to talk about how to make my home safer for Angel. Not too shabby. And now that Angle will live (thanks to the help of Dr. Kempf and West Charleston Animal Hospital), I get to live to see another day too!
Excellent experience at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital. I adopted a baby kitten recently, and took him in for an initial check, shots, and to get snipped. Everyone was very kind, and Felix was a big hit. I was seen by Dr. La Chappell. She was very professional and was so good at handling Felix (he's rather squirrelly for a cat). Dr. La Chappell talked with me for a few minutes about what needed to be done, walked me through all the associated costs, and even discussed proper nutrition with me as this is my first cat. It was a little heartbreaking to leave my baby with them, but I somehow managed ;-). I came back the next day and was greeted by a very groggy Felix. The staff was very kind and explained to me dosing for the pain meds. I paid my fees (very reasonable), and took my baby home. I highly recommend Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital to any new pet parent, they are quite friendly and very knowledgeable. :-)
