Romano's Macaroni Grill

I love this place. I always get great food and great service. I love their mushroom ravioli and the the bread is pretty good too. I have not had a bad dish here. I always have water, meaning they are always their to refill my glass whenever I need it. As a bonus, they remember my husband and I. They used to write their name on the table with the crayons which is nice because I often miss the name of waiter/waitress. But they told me they did not do that anymore because someone complained that it invaded their personal space. But if you ask, they still will.

Mellow Mushroom

The best pizza. Several bases and toppings to choose from, you can create an endless variety of pizzas. The mad italian is excellent. The meatballs are also good and the shemtov is delicious. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and they remember you if you go regularly. It is a great place, their salads are huge! Trivia nights are alot of fun. You just can't go wrong here.

Copeland's of New Orleans

This place has great food. I have ordered the shrimp and grits with creole gravy a couply times and it's always tasty. My husband always orders a steak and it is cooked to perfection. My sister orders the fish and I must say, next time I go, I'm going to get the fish. It is awesome. The service is inconsistent, but never terrible. I would definitely go back.

Westside Heights Apartments

This place is a great place to live. Spacious floor plans, on the bus line, quiet, and affordable place to live. It is older than some place, so you will see its age. But everything works just fine. If you appreciate peace and quiet and are a student that just wants to focus on your classes and stay out of the drama. Stay here, I wish I had never left to move closer to campus.

Club

This is the most aweful place I have ever lived. They tell you it is nonsmoking but they refuse to enforce it. The management team will not take your complaints to heart, they will listen to you and then talk about you when you leave and will not do anything to help you. You can hear everything, everywhere around you. The only good thing is its proximity to UGA but their are other place close to UGA. If you move here, you will experience alot of "parking lot blues."

However, if you enjoy throwing wild parties, are a smoker, make alot of noise, are completely disgusting and do not like cleaning up after yourself this place is for you. You can get away with all that here and not be charged anything upon moveout.

Taste of Thai

This is the best thai restaurant I have ever been to. Everything you order is great. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is family style dining but you can order your dish and keep it to yourself if you like. I personally like the tom yum goong soup (my husband and I get the hot pot and take what is left home, one bowl is not enough) and the chicken rama. The desserts aren't bad either, too bad I rarely have room for one. the only reason I know is they gave me a free dessert on my birthday and I had to try it. It was awesome. You won't be disappointed with anything here. Except maybe if you are bringing a huge crowd, the place is pretty small.

Vincent's Italian Restaurante

This place has very inconsistent service and food. I ordered a clam dish and they didn't put any clams on it. I ordered a chicken dish, and the chicken wasn't browned. It took forever to get a refill. And their coupon you have to read closely, it is not buy one get one, it is buy one get one $10 off and there is very few items on the menu less than $10. The one good thing I can say is that they give you a comment card at the end of the meal, although whether they actually read them I don't know. I have been here three times and would rate this place the same everytime. This restaurant's food is just ok, not memorable.

Marietta Diner

This place serves excellent food. Their desserts are huge and delicious. I love the seafood bisque and the white chocolate raspberry mousse cake is awesome. It is perhaps my favorite cake but I do not think it is made there. Ippolitos occasionally has the exact same cake and they get theirs from the alpine bakery. Maybe they make it with the same recipe but I'll let you decide. the place has a very homey feel and friendly service. you will not be disappointed.

Stars & Strikes Family Ctr

Great place to go and have fun. I can choose to bowl with the traditional bowling tables and lights or you can choose to bowl with a club/cosmic bowling looking which includes couches and tvs. Plus, if you want to take a break from bowling, there is an arcade with plenty of games to choose from. Lots of parking space, a good place to bring a group.

Capers On Main Rstrnt & Bar

This place has great food (beautiful presentation), great atmosphere, and very attentive staff. It also has comparable prices to the other options in the area but its food is much fancier. Great place to go for a special night out.
