I ordered my dress the first week of September, 2010. I was origanally told it would be around 18 week for the dress to come in which would put the delivery date around the begining of January. I had called for the first time in January and was told" we will call you when it's being shipped" A month went by( February) and still no call, I called back and was told that someone will get back to me the next day. After no call back I called AGAIN and explained my situation and was told " You have plenty of time and to not worry about it". I don't care if I have 3 months until my wedding or 33 months I deserve an answer about my dress that I am paying good money for. After I finally got a call back on the 16th of february I was told my dress is coming from Canada and needs to go thru customs so to give them Two weeks. I ended the call thinking, either the dress will be in in two weeks or I will know more info at that point. Well, two weeks came and went and guess what? No call! On Saturday The 5th of March I went in to the shop and spoke to someone and she was brushing me off and put blame on the designer for the late ship date...7 weeks past the promised date. She also had absolutly no excuse for the no call back after that two week mark and when I told her it was very unprofessional she agreed. When I left the shop on saturday I was told she would call the company in Canada first thing Monday morning and call me by 3:00PM , well here it is Monday @ 4:00 and no call. I woud assume Eva's is making a good amount of profit off of my order but I feel like I should be the one being paid because I am doing all the work here! I was also told that my alterations would only take 1 week to be compleated, when I told her the whole neckline of my dress is going to be changed she said " Our seamstress is very good and it's her slow time so it will only take 1 week", Last time I checked wedding season begins in April... At this point I dont know what to belive. I'm sure it will all work out but why in the world would any business have such horrible customer service especially when you are dealing with stressed out brides. Major improvement is needed in that department! I hope at the end of my experiance with Eva's I have something good to say.
