I should have known that any place with warehouse in their name wasn't going to be all that great. Good prices, yes but lousy customer service. AT first I couldn't get anyone to come over and help us. I was buying skis for my daughter's birthday. She's been renting skis the last couple of years but she's ready for her own now. And I reallythink that well fitted ski boots can make a really big difference. I don't feel the girl who helped us realy knew how to do the proper fitting.
My daughter, who was turning 8, wanted a big girl bike. My husband and I decided to go to Princeton sports first. I figured they would have a larger selection of bikes for older kids. My daughter was done with the Dora the Explorer bike she got when she was first learning to ride and wanted a cool new bike perfect for an older kid. I'm glad we went to Princeton first because it ended up being our only stop. They had a great selection and our sales guy, Jeff, could not have been nicer. He approached us within a couple of minutes so we didn't have to stand around waiting for someone to help us or have to go search for help in the store like you usually do at Dicks or Toys R Us. He sized her up right away and steered her towards the right size bikes. He took the time to help her try on several helmets and even suggested she take it for a spin in the parking lot to make sure she liked it. Then he showed us how to adjust the seat for her as she grows. What a great experience. We did all that and were on our way in about 20 minutes. I thought this may be an all day adventure. She was home and out riding with her friends in no time.
