We have lots of animals and have had our share of illnesses. We went to Not Just 4 Paws for many years and we love them. They aren't cheap, but nothing for the best for my animals. I believe animals are like children, if you have them you owe it to them to take the best care possilbe. Then the recession hit us hard! We started going to Canyon Lake Animal Clinic for the vaccine clinic. They were sooooooooo much cheaper & everyone was really nice.
Then we adopted an a abandoned dog who was 6 months old...not that we could really afford it, but she needed a home badly, and was so cute...and we had just lost a 14 year old dog. For all the shots, spraying & microchip was going to be about $400 at Not Just 4 Paws, it was about $150 at CLAC. So, we gave CLAC a try. Dr. Robertson is wonderful. We have nothing except good things to say about the staff. Since we had a 18 year old cat with cancer. We saw the other vet that works there part time, older gentleman. He was very kind & helped us hard some hard decisions. We are very happy with both clinics, but why pay more that you need to. Not Just 4 Paws is not as busy & the staff if friendlier, I think because they have more time. Do you want staff that has time to chat with you or to save $150? Oh, I have a freind at work that had to take her animal somewhere else because they couldn't work her into the schelude when the dog was ill & needed to be seen. So, when I have a sick animal my 1st call is to CLAC, if they couldn't see me, the I would call Not Just 4 Paws. Very happy with both.
