My family began using this office in 2007 when we moved to Cumming because they were the only office that accepted our insurance. We began with Servera, no longer with the practice. He was awful. I switched all 5 of us to Devaraju and for the first 2 yrs with her things were pretty good, although patient care definitely took a back seat to profit. One of my biggest gripes is"Physicals." The office wants to insist that I have to pay for a sports physical form to turn into the school, when the school system will take a copy of a well check. I have told them this every year and they argue with me every year because my insurance doesn't pay for a sports phys and they can charge me $42.00 for the Dr's signature on the piece of paper that simply states the child is fit, whereas the well check includes blood and urine. It would seem, since they got the money for the well check, they could throw in the signature on the sports paper, but they will not do it. My son has a spot under his arm and it has been there for 3 months or so. Every visit, I have Devaraju look at it and last week she told us it isn't the same spot.....? My son and I know where his spot is. She argued with me that it was different, not the same spot she saw before. I also needed a letter stating good health in order to obtain guardianship of some children and she refused to give me the letter, telling me I had to have full x-rays, TB test etc.. Even after I explained that I didn't have to do the "foster parent" requirements, had instructions from DFACs. I finally just gave the case workers number and she spoke with them and they finally agreed to do what was asked. Krishna was extremely rude to me when I refused to be tricked into 2 physicals for my college bound daughter and since I have been going there, 3 of the best techs have moved on. One girl told me that the office was run on making profit and getting all they could from the patient. They are rude, wait time for the last appt of the day can be over an hour and they don't care what you have to do. I've even been told by my DR, that she was still there too and wanted to go home, but I had a kid stranded that I thought I would have been in time to pick up. I am changing our family's Dr's and would not recommend this practice at all. I'm very grateful that now there are more Dr's in town that take our insurance, for I have wanted to change to a different office for a long time . This office quit doing vaccinations before my daughter had the final shot of her HEP series and then didn't even apologize, just told me they didn't do them anymore, but never bothered to call or try to get my daughter taken care of before they quit and she had to have 3! What kind of patient care is that? If you are intelligent, ask questions, or have some common knowledge about anything, this isn't the office for you. All they care about is making money and obviously I am not the only patient that has made that observation. Take note of the 5 star ratings reviews and close proximity of dates. How coincidental so many rave reviews within days of each other. Trust the ones that don't seem too good to be true.
