Good Table Restaurant
Good food and good prices. Since the new owners took over about a year ago the place is fabulous. It is clean and inviting. The new owners and help are the best. You can tell by all of the cars that are now in the paking lot. The menu is good and so is the coffee.
Lindy Gerties Restaurant
Hard to find but great food and atmosphere. The Chili Mac is oh so good and my favorite vanilla cokes. Excellent menu choices and specials of the day. Found this by accident. Was looking in the phone book for restaurants when we first moved here and found it. Use to go to one for years in Bridgeview. Glad that this is so close. The owners are nice people. The only bad thing is that are closed on Sundays. They need a day off too. Have family that live south of Kankakee that drive over just to have to Chili Mac. Great [lace.
Whistle Stop Cafe
Great place to eat for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. The home made soups are out of this world. Cute place and the kids like the train that goes around the room. The meal deals are really a bargain. The servers are the best. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.
Golden Mine Family Restaurant
We have been going to the Golden Mine for years. Before moving to the area we use to drive 30 minutes just to eat breakfast every week-end. The food is the best. Our favorite is breakfast. The pork chops are juicy and taste so good. And the help is also the best. Worth the trip.
La Piazza Restaurant
The food is sooo good. We think that they have the best Italian food around. Have been going there since they opened. We also take friends and family from out of town who enjoy the food. They all agree and are surprised to have such a great restaurant in such a small town. The take out dinners are just as good as if you ate there. And it is also a beautiful and relaxing place to eat.
