Safeway
This is the only full size grocery store chain in Rodeo. It's really nice inside, the clerks are always there for you when there's an item you can't find. The deli always serves the freshest meat located within a 15 miles radius.
U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer
This is a superb establishment. The owner is a really nice guy who will bend over backwards for his customers. There is this one homeless lady who lives on the streets of Rodeo and he gives her change out of his own pocket. I really like this guy. He has a mechanic on duty for doing minor jobs like lube to brakes. I have used him a few times. The site use to be the old 76 Unocal Station. I don't know what happened, I also loved it when they sold gas. Now it's just pretty much a U-Haul Dealer and mechanic shop. They have bags of ice too!
D's Giant Burger
I'm a lifer of Rodeo and have been eating at D's for as long as I can remember and I'm 42 now. Tony is the owner of this superb establishment and he serves the best burgers in town. Their curly fries are tasty too.
Pinole Public Library
I rate this branch 5 stars because it's a super nice place. Compared to the little dinky Rodeo and Crockett branches, it's a huge place to have plenty of elbow room when browsing or studying. Yes, it gets a little rowdy when the kids are using it, but that can easily be overlooked, we are all sharing this superb building. Love the staff too, one member who is bilingual, give instructions on how to use the internet in spanish ;-)
