Overall the school is OKAY, however there are days when the ratio is 12 children to 1 teacher. The school promotes learning through play, however when children are resistent to the craft that is offered, they may be forced into doing it rather than expressing themselves through playtime, and if they are not always willing to participate in an activity, it WILL be brought up during conference. I agree some of the teachers are older and do not allow the children to express themselves through running around and if the child has a day when they do act rambunctious, they are a considered a "behavior problem" or you are told they were "not nice today". The teachers at times also tell you of discipline issues in front of other parents, and do not always listen to both sides of the story. Discipline is often reactive and not proactive, responding to cries or telling. There are many instances of comparing children. This should never be done, the school states they promote independence and individuality, but the teachers do not always follow this rule. THe playground definately needs improvement.
