From the moment I walked through the door at CAST, I knew it would be THE place for our son. The staff is so attentive and loving. The school is immaculate. The administrative staff is so courteous and helpful. Parents always feel welcome. I know that my son is in great hands while I'm at work, and I have such peace of mind knowing that he's well taken care of. The Reggio approach to Early Childhood Education is amazing. My son is thriving in the enriching CAST environment! :)
I went to Cafe Biaggio for the first time last night with several of my co-workers for a little going away celebration. There were probably 25 of us. First of all, I'd like to say that our server was really awesome.
The bar tender had the worst attitude I've come across in quite some time. I'm a nurse and I deal with the public all day long, so believe me when I tell you her disposition was terrible!
She gave us a hard time about using debit cards. I was told that because I wouldn't open a tab I "better not come back in 20 minutes and ask for a drink, because you're NOT getting one!"
We had the martini list (a scrap of paper, really) thrown at us.
We were told to "hurry up and order a drink!"
Lots of eye rolling
This woman even told our business manager "you ain't no walk in the park."
They had a very limited wine list (disappointing, especially for an Italian restaurant) and were out of Gin!
Nice. Great customer service for a supposedly "upscale" restaurant. The food was ok. Prices were fair, I suppose.
I laugh at the person who called this establishment upscale. Part of the ceiling in the dining room is made from particle board haphazardly nailed.
The manager will be hearing from me today.
If you'd like a truly upscale dining experience in Waterbury, go to La Tavola on Highland Ave!!!
My son has received excellent care at Pediatric Associates. I've never been turned down for a sick visit. They have been very accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments. The front office staff is very friendly.
The doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and I trust that they have my child's best interest at heart. I'm a nurse and feel 100% comfortable with the care my son has been given!
I'm actually a huge fan of Once Upon A Child! I have found absolutely wonderful products at the DANBURY store. Bristol is a bit closer to home, so I decided to check out the OUAC there. I was DISGUSTED by the appearance of the store. The floors were filthy. It smelled of must and my mom actually ended up having an allergy attack!
The clothing selection was sub-par. Many of the items were stained, faded and very worn.
The baby items such as exersaucers, swings, and furniture were dirty. I don't just mean faded or stained, I'm talking literal DIRT! How hard is it to wipe down those things?
I did not see one "adult" employee. There seemed to be only teens to assist you, and they were literally laying on the counter and talking inappropriately.
I have never tried to sell anything to OUAC, so I can't really comment on that aspect.
I will only go to the Danbury store from now on!
