We brought our dog in for diagnostic tests for neurological symptoms. They kept him there all day, and called to say they didn't find anything concrete on the MRI or the Spinal Tap, and their suspicion was it was a degenerative disease that they would have results from a blood test in 3 weeks. When we picked out LARGE dog up, he could not walk. They gave us a sling and sent us on our way. When he still had not returned to normal the next day, we paged the Dr on Sunday night, He told us this was normal and to give it a couple days (first we heard of this). No one called to check in on our dog, and a week later, he had not returned to normal (improved but still wobbly and could not be let out of the house on his own anymore). We called. We were told there was a .1% chance this would happen--dog could be worse after anesthesia--, and they were sorry. Additionally, they never called us with the results, so when we called, they said it was negative and they didn't know what was wrong with our dog. So, about $5k later and with a dog 1 month later that is STILL not in the same condition he was in prior to their "diagnostic" tests (we still cannot let him our without being on a leash anymore), we have no idea what is wriong with our beloved pet. This is heartbreaking. I cannot recommend this practice.
