Food here use to be real good years ago until it got very mediocre and service inexperienced, prices really got high. someone recommended Custom house two doors down will check them out this weekend sorry wont be coming back.
I came here with my brother for a late meal since Happy days is open past midnight it just so happens that the atmosphere is not nice and neither is there food. A vast amount of rough crowds looking for trouble with people and trying to pick fights management was not good at resolving the issues. The burger and fries we had did not taste that good made us feel funny later on in the evening but this is not the diner to be past midnight even though Brooklyn heights has a rep for being a very nice neighborhood, another rowdy customer threw a glass across the store it was really ridiculous to be here wont come back.
This burger did not phase me just because it is a chain does not mean they are the best tired of all these college kids hyping about the burger to me it just didn't taste that great.
I hang out in park slope once in a while when I walk past this pizzeria cant resist going in love there pizza have a slice and a square. I hope this pizzeria will stay forever in the area they are fantastic clean nice and with a good atmosphere.
Monty's was good the first couple of years they opened ever since then it has gotten worse every time I went service was slow and rude.
It started to get dirty saw a rat run past me. I had a pizza that really tasted like trash, would recommend the new brick oven pizza that just opened on 214 Hicks st better pizza and it comes out quicker and better.
The 5 star compensates for the attitudes of the evening servers. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt for breakfast because I use to come for dinner quite often. I saw a superb change of style and attitude from the morning crew got my waffle and other stuff served to me very quickly and efficient with out difficulties. Victor the short dark haired waiter is the man of the hour in that place very quick energetic and always smiles and appears like he likes to work with the public. I will definitely travel from where I live in Sunset pk to have any kind of breakfast that will brighten my morning and when I visit my friend in the heights will call for a lunch delivery. Grand canyons morning people get the job done sorry girls gotta improve in order to get a dinner rush look forward to ordering my first burger delivery this weekend when I go see my friend.
I had two visits here when I come to the heights to visit a friend, had different sandwiches and bagels it was alright but not the greatest.
I also found it a bit expensive compared to bagel world on Court st.
I love the bagels here and have a sandwich on occasion when I'm visiting a friend who lives in the heights before we go to the promenade we make a big order for bagels coffees and a sandwich and it all works out. I come here whenever im in the heights and will definitely return.
The interior of this store is pretty nice but turned me off when I paid close to $25.00 for a salad and a coffee that is too much.
I made a vast effort to like Palace and commuted from sunset pk just to eat here, it turned into an absolute nightmare. I saw rats inside the store and in the ladies room when I had to use the bathroom. I remember when this was an Indian restaurant under another name quite a few years ago and with the 20% off they have offered with there dishes gives me the idea they are desperate to stay open because no matter how many sales you offer every so often if you still have roaches and rats in your place you wont stay open long. It is sad because the waiter was a nice guy and felt bad about our complaints about the tikki masala being over cooked when we were there last Sun night gave us 80% off the check even though we had a few drinks, another attempt to see if we would come back next time wrong felt grossed out and annoyed ended up going to raga on 142 Smith st also known as brick lane changed there name recently had a better eating experience there sorry.
