I went to Bubbles before and it was always good experience, but never been to this one at White Marsh, and that day I just could't wait to get a hair cut. Ya know one of those days, that you just wanna cut it all off! My girl that i usually go to was off that day(@different place) so i decided to go and "cheat" on her with Erica. Oh, my goodness! That's what i get for being inpatient! I told her that it took me forever to grow my hair to this point and really want to keep the length and I just want some choppy layers. I usually have short hair, and for some reason, im trying to grow it. She said OK! She was really nice, as a person. We talked about alot of things, everything but my hair cut. She just keep cutting it and then she took the razor and started to cut. I hate razor. I have thin hair as it is and it makes my hair look like is damaged. I told her that, but she just said, other people didn't know what they doing.She was so fast and never once section my hair and cut, or stopped to measure sides-nothing! She just went into hair drying and puffed my hair like that guy from Wayne's World! I didn't like it and told her that she doesn't have to do that, but she insisted. OK, i figured, when i go home, i ll do my own hair. But 2 days later, i still couldn't figure any cute styles. My bangs were ridiculous. No style at all! I even had few pictures of the hair style i wanted, and i got nothing like that. I went back there and ask for Erica for quick fix. Receptionist told me she is all booked and i should go somewhere else to have my hair fixed!?? I couldn't believe what i'm hearing! I asked if i would get my money back, and she said:" No, we don't do that." I said that i didn't came there to cause any trouble, i simply want 5 mins of her time, to fix me. I had to wait, but i didn't mind. How stupid of me to go back there! She did the same thing again! She just keep chopping and razoring! I left there, in tears. My hair was disaster! I had to go get it fixed somewhere else.
I love they selection, how ever i find it to be very hard communicate with the staff or even purchase things. I was there 3 times and i never had good experience. One time i went to register, and they ask me all kind of questions, my number, address, email.....They said i couldn't purchase anything if i don't give them that info! I thought it was so bizarre. After all that, then they want me to text some number form my phone in order to get 10% discount?? OK, i did that as well, but i never got some stupid text back, so they couldn't give me discount after all that!?? My baby was getting fussy and i really just wanted to leave. It was ridiculous! Other time, i took some very nice things to sell, and i they took 2 baby carriers, snap-n-go, rock-n-play....clothes....bathtub..etc..and they were try to give my 20 dollars!!!? I took my stuff to Once Upon the Child on rt 40, Ellicott City and got 82$ ! Over there, they are very friendly and even help you to take your stuff to the car.
Last time i went to Kid2Kid, i wanted to buy few swim suits, and they were missing a tag from one pair, so they say that they couldn't sell it to me?? That's CRAZY! I never had so many problems buying stuff anywhere, ever! Plus manager, or owner, who ever she is, has no costumer service skills at all. She is snappy and rude. I feel bad for her staff as well as her costumers.
