I came along this page and I want to share my experience. I have been in and out of hospitals since 1986. Long time huh? It is a long time. So I was in New York and this woman Dr Xanya was an intern and gave me all these tests. So I had to go back to my ward and she was taking me through the nurses station as if I was a nurse . Everyone started shouting at her because they are so much better than us, the patient but she, Xanya, treated me like an equal. Never forgot that. I admire this girl's guts to go against everyone just to make feel like I was human again. I wish I had her guts. Well, I move to Hawaii and guess who my friend recommends. Her. Her name is Xanya Weiss now. This is a married name, Her last name was different then, cannot remember what. Anyway so I call her and tell her, hey I know you don't remember me! She remembered me, man, She did. So I see her but if you want someone to really respect you, no matter what your illness is go to her. She will respect you. She will treat you like a person, I love this woman, I would do anything for her.
