The staff is well knowledged and helpful. They also have a good selection of handguns for rent and to purchase. For added fun rent one of the fully automatic rifles and sub machine guns.
Coral Gables Bridals
I'm from South Florida, so I booked appointments at several salons on "bridal row" in Miami in order to find my dream dress. Now I have to cancel all the other appointments because Coral Gables Bridals was the only one I needed! My consultant was Sasha and she immediately made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. There was one dress that I didn't think I liked, but she insisted it would look good on me, so I agreed to try it. There was absolutely no pressure to buy a dress; in fact, Sasha told me I shouldn't make such a huge decision in a rush and that I should go home and think about it. They stayed open well past closing time to accommodate me. In fact, Dulce (the owner) was the one pulling more dresses at 6:20 when they closed at 6! In the end, I said YES to the dress that Sasha had made me try - how on earth she knew when I didn't, I have no idea, but I'm so thankful for her eye and expertise! Dulce didn't close the store until 6:45. I am so grateful to Coral Gables Bridals for making my experience so special and easy. I can't wait to see my dress again, and I know it will be perfect because I've never experienced customer service like I did at this store. Every bride should have the experience I did while searching for her dress!
Richard's Gems & Jewelry
I needed to sell some family jewelry that had sentimental value but painful associations for me. On the advice of my appraiser, I visited Fernando at Richard's in the Seybold building. And I am so, so glad I did. Not only did he give me the most generous price of any other store I visited in the area, but he did it with compassion and sensitivity--two qualities I don't typically associate with trying to sell valuables downtown. The store itself is beautiful, clean, well-lit, and stocked with some positively breathtaking items. The staff are kindly and efficient. And unlike so many small business owners in Miami, Fernando genuinely cares about delivering good customer service and fair prices. As he told me himself, treating everyone fairly ensures return customers and good word-of-mouth advertising.
