Excellent service! The gentleman at the counter was in the middle of something and stopped what he was doing to greet me and offer assistance. He was very patient and went through what stock he had and even suggested other music shops that might have different inventory. I was not able to make a purchase, but would definitely return if I need something else! Thank you for treating me well!
I agree with the last review; they probably had a good selection but I was not able to find out. I went in with my little one, upon recommendation, to buy a replacement string. The woman asked me what brand and I asked which ones the shop carried. It has been years since I bought strings, so I could not remember specifically which brand. I had a Dominant string with me, but I was thinking I needed a different brand. The woman brings out a string that looks like the one I have (same string because I had just checked another shop), and when I asked if they have different ones because I was looking for a finer gauge, this is the response I got:
"No, we only carry high end strings!"
High end? Then why was she trying to sell me the exact same string I already had? She was SO rude, I thanked her and left. The thing is, if my money isn't good enough to spend there, I am sure there are plenty of other shops around who will help me. Plus, I was going in to see what the service was like to see if it would be worth buying a fine instrument. Obviously not.
