Horrible, horrible, horrible. I get there, pull in and everything seems normal. I'm in the waiting room when one of the technicians asks me to come outside. He tells me that my dip stick is stuck and that I needed to pull it out myself. I have owned a car for 20 years, get an oil change every 3 months, so that's 4 a year, which means that I've witnessed my oil being changed over 80 times... minimum. I have never ever had the technician ask me to pull out the dipstick in my own car because they can't! So the technician tells me to pull and I do, then he tells me pull and twist and I do and then my dip stick breaks. I stand there aghast and confused with the dip stick handle in my hand while the technician is telling me that it happens all the time to them and that's why they have customers do this. I tell them no, that what they just had me do is wrong and totally backwards. Who does this? Apparently they do!
Anyways, I tell them that I'm leaving and to give me the owners phone #. A very unpleasant, rude, sweaty, bald guy tells me that he's the general manager and that I can't have the owners information. I told him that he can't withhold that information and then he threatens to kick my a$$. His name is Scott Brown and he's the general manager at this classic lube express in Beaverton. This was done in front of my girlfriend, other customers and his staff. He then threatened me with physical violence and called me names, saying that they have customers pull out their own dipsticks so they're not liable! Ridiculous!
I'm at a new oil change place, they are changing my oil without treating violence or breaking my car:) They just informed me that it'll be about $200 to fix the damage Classic Lube did to my car. Bad customer service, bad... bad... place.
Fantastic people to work with. They have Doctors with great reputations, highly recommended and communication with the staff has been easy. I like this place, going to keep working with them.
