We called Via though Jenn Air to service a broken burner on our cooktop. The first tech came and misdiagnosed the problem. A week later, a second tech came and diagnosed the problem correctly. He ordered a new part. A third tech came, agreed with the assessment of the second tech and tried to fix the cooktop.
He told me that the cooktop is too old and can't be taken apart to be serviced. This may or may not be true. After taking 3 days off of work only to learn that it can't be fixed was disconcerting but, hey, it's possible.
That tech left and when I went to clean up after him (None of the 3 techs cleaned up after their work.) I realized that he had broken the knob on the remaining working front burner.
So, in a nutshell, 3 visits and my cooktop is in worse shape than when I called Via. When I called to explain and try to get a refund, they refused to refund the service fee, which I thought was a fair ask, since it's now going to cost me more to fix. (Not to mention the time that was lost waiting for 3 different visits.)
If you want your broken appliance broken worse, call Via.
