I have been trying, on my own, to get my pain in order. I need help and I called on Dr. Frank! He is a great help!

I have been seeing Dr. Frank for a while and he is so happy to see me! He is a doctor who tries to treat the cause, not just put a "band-aide" on it. I love that!!

I felt like Dr. Wage took more time with me and set a plan for me to work on my posture and strengthen my back and spine instead of just cycling me through. I love the staff here as they are always friendly and super accommodating. My whole family comes here and I have referred my friends as well.

I've been seeing Dr. Wages since September 2010. He's pretty knowledgeable about pain and takes time on your appointments. Most doctors want you in and out as soon as possible. While he is very busy, he will give you the time you need to ask questions and get a thorough exam. As with most pain management offices, you see a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant on most appointments. You will be expected to do injections and any other treatments they want. They are not going to just hand out pain medications alone. When I first started going here, they were very hard to reach on the phone(they had a call center take messages), hard to get refills and hard to change appointments. They have made many improvements in the last few months. They no longer use the call center when calling about clinical issues and appointments(unless they are super busy), typically refill medications within 24 hours and can often squeeze you in on short notice for pain control/medication issues. The more abrasive staff have been sent packing and they are taking a much more caring attitude. I would recommend Dr. Wages and Austin Pain without hesitation. I finally have a life back and am not in terrible pain everyday.
