I originally asked Family Ortho to set me an appointment with the ankle specialist a week after my injury. The office staff would only let me see the PA. The PA missed an upper ankle sprain and deltoid ligament tear. It's 9 months later, months of PT, and now with the help of a new physician from a different office it is looking like I will have be having surgery. I am looking forward to not being in pain everyday. If they don't fix this I will be non-mobile as I age.

When I asked the Family Ortho office to be seen by a different doctor there, they would not do that because the doctors were worried about taking a patient away from the other doctor. I wish someone would have taken the time to consider my injuries first and not their egos.

This is not a small mistake this office and it's employees made. It has changed my life every day.

My suggestion, go with your gut instincts. People are only human and finding a doctor is like shopping for a car - it's got to sound right, feel right and drive well before you commit your confidence and trust.
