I started going to this place near 5 years ago, when in my first experience was with Dr. King, who was rude, curt and felt that issues I have were due to being overweight. This may sound like its an exageration, but this is actually an example of his "deduction" through medical knowledge; "you have a stuffy nose and your eyes are red and puffy? sounds like if you lose 35 pounds it will go away." So according to them, allergies is affected by ones own weight..not pollen? I wasn't going to go back after that visit, but i needed to get on my meds for blood pressure and saw Dr. Orgeron who was by far the best doctor I have seen in many years. It is a true shame that he has left as my expereinces with him were awesome. In the last year their service, mostly with the staff, but especially with the pediatric side has been horrible. They have turned over staff more times and with each rotation they are picking folks with less experience on how a medical office should be run and basic skills in customer service. If this is due to them saving money by not paying more than minimum wage, or simply they don't care about professionalism i don't know.

Since last year they have been billing us incorrectly, in so much that they started telling us we had a balance. In all the years i have gone to this place we have never had a balance, service was paid in full in the form of a co-pay and insurance ALWAYS took care of the rest. So here we are for the last year with this 15 dollar balance, which is now a 5 dollar balance, But we have kept every receipt from EVERY visit and we said that we can prove we don't owe anything then they quickly tells us to call some 800 number and they can't talk to us etc etc. After several months of saying we can prove we don't owe money they try to threaten us with going to collections, and again we call the 800 number telling them that we have had enough and they better stop harassing us regarding the bill. In the beginning of January they started charging us more for the copay, saying it had increased and we payed it, when we got the new card from my insurance we say that this was not the case and we were still at the same old 20 dollar co-pay, and the office was lying to us having said that they got the information from my insurance directly and what we were paying was right, well clearly not. we are talking about 50 dollars over the top, with medical bills, both for my kids (3) and for my wife. They won't return the money, nor will they credit it to our accounts.

Today i am in the office to do well checks for my kids both my 8 year old and my 6 year old. Now, at the beginning of the year, they had a makeup well check due to us being out of state when they were due. Today was supposed to make them even and all their shots up to date. I go in to the office and it's the same 'ol same 'ol situation; You owe us, no we don't I don't have the receipts today but we have been fighting with billing over it again....etc etc. so, they told me to sit out in the waiting room, and apparently no co-pay was needed.........no co-pay needed? hmmm. So, someone comes from a different entrance to the back office and it appears that the all mighty Billing team wants to talk to me face to face instead of directly me to the 800 number..neat, they wait till the one day we don't have our paperwork so that they can try and bully us for the 5 bucks. I told them that they are holding us up for th well check and that this is ridiculous, I won't reschedule for their appointments and that i am pretty angry over this situation. Now, i will say this, the only time I was out of line was when i told them that I find their staff "totally f'ing ridiculous" Yeah, I was wrong and I am willing to admit it. At that point they threaten to call the police because I cursed. Granted, it was wrong to cuss, but after all the time dealing with this issue this is the one time I cussed. And yeah it had to be the big one. But given how much stress they have caused over the last few years, i can let that slide. I will say this they are the worst bunch of "professionals" I use the word lightly. As for the well check, they currently say they received their 6 and 8 checkups 6 months before their birthdays, so now i am going to go to the BBB and file a complaint. As I am no expert, but if they are saying they had their well checks on record for 6 and 8 years done this early, sounds like falsifying documents to me, granted i think everyone here would agree with me that they falsify their billing records and ICD-9 codes to find ways of getting paid more money. I wonder how well their butts are covered incase State is called in?

Stay away from this office. Find anyone else anywhere else. I even recommend going to a back alley doctor with a revoked medical license. I assure you they will treat you better than anyone at CPPFM, and it won't take more than one visit to diagnose what ails you.
