Nice people, treat you with respect!

Most check cashing places treat you like a criminal or something. But the people here are awesome. They are also really fast, I never have to wait very long in line and they're always really nice to me and ask how I am. They even remember me and ask about my family! This is a private owned store,... Read More

Movers Berkeley is the best moving company!!!

The guys at movers berkeley are terrific. I've moved with them twice and will only use them. After having used other moving companies in berkeley, there is an obvious difference between them and other moving companies. They do have cool Fabrics to choose from, nice toss pillows . I left with some ideas, and brought my partner back to help me decide what to get.... Read More

A Diamond Mine, Not a Costume Jewelry Store

This is the best bookstore on the west coast. Ten times better than Powell's in Portland. Peter Howard can be a little grouchy, but if you want a smiling nincompoop go to Borders. Only bookstore where you will find a 1580 Black Letter Chaucer in middle of short stack of odds and ends on the fl... Read More

Hotel Carlton is retarded

The management and the workers there have got to be some of the worst people I've seen in my life. Either they're just retarded or as the previous reviewer wrote they have serious problems. They don't give out the managers office number, and the two different e-mail addresses that I have sent at ... Read More

great value for the money

I went to one of the psychic fairs put on by the Berkely Psychic Institute and thought the value for the money (3 ten minute readings for $30) was a nice touch. For the price, you get a sampling of different mediums by students at BPI.
