This is thee BEST Hand car wash in san diego.... lots of nice cars makes you feel like it might be expensive... BAD EXPERIENCE - misdiagnosis led to hospitalization; very demeaning

Beverages & More has a great selection
I happen to like small personal wine shops like Truly Fine Wine but I must admit that Bevmo has a very good selection. It's near the Longs Drugs Store in La Jolla and once you are on their mailing list they often send discount coupons

Suprisingly good deli sandwiches
When I have an errand near UTC I sometimes stop here for a deli sandwich. It's located in a funky shopping center and the first time I went there I wasn't expecting much but the sandwiches are actually delicious. The people who work there are nice too.
Not bad
There are better fish tacos in San Diego but there's aren't bad- I also like some of their bowls. For a chain their food isn't bad and I like the fact that they provide the nutritional info.
Not really a fan
The food is too heavy for me- lots of rich sauces- and the decor has definitely seen better days. They also failed my secret restaurant test: clean bathrooms. If a restaurant doesn't keep their bathroom clean I walk right out.
Love the ambiance and excellent coffee
Sometimes I run by here early in the morning and am shocked by how many locals are sitting outside. It's a true neighborhood hangout and nice to see.
