With a date, I stopped in early on a Sunday evening for dinner and a couple drinks. I had been there many times during lunch on weekdays but wasn't exactly sure what to expect on the weekend. As it turned out it was very a pleasant experience with good service and good food. We are anxious to ... Read More
I stopped in here for lunch with a friend and found a bar/restaurant with a great neighborhood feeling. Lots of Emerald Isle decor and a friendly waitress. We sat upstairs in a booth which felt a little like being in a confessional ! The fish and chips was flavorful and fresh the fries wer... Read More
This used to be a great sushi place close by the studios. I've seen stars like Andy Garcia dine here. But they changed owners and it became a soju/sake bar that still has sushi. It looks like a bar/lounge now. And the sushi feels like it was store bought. They don't have a sushi bar anymore,... Read More
I've been to Timmy Nolansd many times over the years and it is always a festive place to hang out, enjoy a cold one, watch sporting events, and mingle. A major Boston Celtic hangout, this old-time pub has a unique atmosphere that makes it one of the best and friendliest taverns in the area.

I have never been to the tavern but have used them for catering. The food was excellent, hot, great variety. They took care of everything, drinks, table ware, and a staff person to serve and clean up!
This place is very busy during the weekday lunch due to its proximity to both Warner Brothers Studios, NBC, Universal & Disney studios. Sushi bar is crowded. I've sat at tables & had the sushi combo which is reasonably priced & mediocre sushi. Not bad, not good, not great, just ok. Tempur... Read More
Lucy's 51 on Riverside drive. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how cool it was once we walked in. The front is kind of dark and dreary so be sure not to judge the book by its cover. It's the usual dark, red, black, as rock and roll as Toluca Lake can get. Cool vibe-- interesting mix of peop... Read More
Eight-18 is by far my favorite place to be. It's a very sweet, sassy, sexy, intimate wine bar in Toluca Lake. The staff and patrons are very nice and extremely helpful (no snottiness what-so-ever!), and the food and wine are fantastic!! You can do a full dinner or just a cheese tasting with wine ... Read More
