GENTLE AND CARING

Tatman's Towing is THE WORST !
I agree that Tatman's Towing is the worst operated business in Central Illinois. Talk about a bunch of unskilled, unsophisticated guys trying to make it in this world. Well, you missed your calling boys! You are all equally worthless!
County Market only when necessary
store is clean. produce is luck of the draw. watch out for dented cans and outdated stuff. ok to shop when absolutely necessary and you have the time to check dates on everything you buy.
Historic Lincoln Hotel is pretty, but old and needs renovated.
The Historic Lincoln Hotel is nice, but it wasn't my favorite place to stay in Urbana. It is old and the staff at the front desk always had to search for our reservation. The beds were not very comfortable.
A different kind of hotel
The Historic Lincoln Hotel is certainly unique. When my parents visited, and we couldn't find somewhere closer to campus to stay they would stay here. The mattresses weren't so great, and the rooms were pretty small. But it's a lot more interesting than the standard chain hotels too.
Illini Union Hotel is great.
I loved the Illini Union Hotel. It was hard to get a reservation there, but when we did, it was very nice. It was so nice to be right on the U of I campus. You look out at the quad through the window. Very nice staff. Reasonable price.

Hampton Inn-Champaign is the place to stay in Urbana.
This was our favorite place to stay when we visited our daughter at the University of Illinois. You have to make reservations far in advance of when you want to stay. It is very nice. No complaints. Complimentary breakfast.
Courier Cafe is wonderful.
We have eaten at the Courier Cafe for breakfast and lunch. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. Everything was very good, especially the milk shakes. Good service.
