Salon Diversions was a disaster for me

The stylist chopped my hair - did not measure. told me there was a 2 week period to come back if I wasn't happy. What a mistake - took her up on it. She chopped more. Now one side of my hair has half the hair of the other side. Fifty wasted dollars - now I have to pay to have someone else fi... Read More

Mandina's is an authentic neighborhood restaurant.

Okay, I have to say that I really really love Mandina's! I can not even make a suggestion on what to order because everything that I have had there is delicious. If a person from out of town were to ask me where to eat in NOLA to experience real NO cooking I believe this would be my first sugge... Read More

Parkway Bakery & Tavern is the best!

In my opinion Parkway Bakery & Tavern has the best Po-boy in New Orleans. Considering the fact that po boy sandwiches originated in NOLA and there are many restaurants that serve them, this is quite an accomplishment. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere is nice also. The employees a... Read More

Well, I am getting married in April and I will be taking my engagement pic on Nov 21. I called on the Monday before to schedule a simple hair appointment (curls down), nothing spectacular. The cost was a bit high for something so simple. The receptionist that answered and gave me the price kne... Read More

NICOLE AND TIM

I've never felt more welcomed at a Salon before coming to Albert Brown's. Nicole did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicure. She's always smiling and is courteous. I was very pleased to know she makes her own sugar scrub. It' looks and feels more natural than other scrubs at salons. I appreci... Read More

Pat O'Brien's Bar always has a fun crowd.

Par O'Brien's is a gathering place for large fun crowds. Be sure to go on a football weekend for a lot of excitement. The "hurricanes" are large but you'll enjoy them.

Cafe Du Monde is a great part of Jackson Square.

We don't even drink coffee but always go to Cafe du Monde when we visit New Orleans. The beignets are wonderful. Expect a wait but that's why it's worth it. Enjoy the Quarter.

Brennan's is brunch.

A visit to New Orleans should always include brunch at Brennan's. You should expect a wait and a little expensive, but that's the way it's always been for memories.
