Unfortunately for the community this store closed late last summer. They will be missed as most independent book stores are - so few around anymore. A great loss I feel.
My family and I had come to this restaurant on a whim, and it was definitely worth it. Although this restaurant is small, there is a warm, welcoming feeling when you walk through the door. There is a long wait especially during peak hours, but staff is always friendly and assuring that there wo... Read More
I bought my bedroom curtains here, and I just love them. I search for a long time for an insulation curtain that was also attractive. The ones I have are a lovely floral, and they allow me complete privacy. I did not think they were overpriced.
Highly recommended, my wife and I visited the Stockbridge Country Inn last weekend for James Taylor and it was an amazing event, our guest suite accommodations were private rooms with canopy beds, those were a treat. The Red Lion Inn dining room is an excellent choice to have a New England style dinner with a touch of elegance. The menu varies so there are always new choices to please. Be sure to make reservations as they fill up quickly.

We like to hang out in the Lions Den for Bloody Mary's in the summer kicking back in the courtyard. This is a great place to relax and kick back. I like to bring a book. Stockbridge is beautiful in the fall and is a nice short get away from Springfield.
I love the Red Lion in at Christmas time. They at times have a harpest playing in the lobby. It is like one of those classic Christmas moments that definately puts you into the Christmas Spirit.
The Red Lion Inn is New England at it's best. It just looks like a Norman Rockwell Christmas Illustration. No wait a minute! It IS in a Rockwell painting after all. The food is superb in every way. You won't just get a meal, you will get an experience!
