This is one of my favorite places to eat at Perkins Cove...ok, maybe second to that great candy store. I love being able to sit and see the water and the people walking on the rocks. This is one of the bestl.
Everything here is flat and tasteless, almost as though they've left out the salt or some other key ingredient. The items show well in the cases, but the fact is they have no taste and are often stale. Their brownies are the worst I've had anywhere and the cookies, which are too big and too expe... Read More
I had a seafood dish that came with 2 small scallops,2 small shrimp and a couple of pieces of lobster in a sherry sauce. Not bad but expensive. The most disappointing was the wine. You get about 3 Oz's for 8 bucks. Dinner for 2 with tip came to over 80 dollars. Bread was extra, sparkling water ex... Read More
I have been to Amore several times and have never not enjoyed myself!! They are famous for their Banana Foster's stuffed french toast. However, everything is good. The lobster eggs benedict is to die for. The staff is always friendly. Get there early to avoid having to wait!!

I love this bakery, they have the freshest pastry, and coffee and the service is unbeatable. It is family owned and run.The cases are full of yummy pastry and I have to say it is difficult to decide what to purchase. Everything is great, but I would recommend the raspberry oaties.
I have stayed here a number of times with my grandchildren. I have stayed here without my grandchildren and that was very nice ... Read More
On my first trip to Maine I ate here. I was so taken with the location I insisted on bringing the entire family. My children were thrilled because it was the first time they had eaten lobster but I as we traveled through the state we realized that the lobster here was overpriced.
This motel was a welcome stop on our trip through Maine. Our room was large enough for our family of 4 with a convenient location. On our first visit we loved the spot but I must stay on our second visit we had some noisy neighbors.
First off, the view was great! However, the view could not make up for other significant problems with this establishment. The food was rather pedestrian. More troubling, however, was that the service was horrible and the restaurant proved to engage in questionable business practices. For much of... Read More
