I am originally from Duluth, now live in Portland OR and used to live in New York City. Not to sound like a princess but I make a point of only going to the best stylists. I have very high expectations for my hair and money. I've gone a couple of the most expensive salons in Duluth and have been ... Read More
Kids of all ages like this place. Even my older teenage sons have always liked to go to Carnival Thrillz. They have a good array of games. I found it to be a whole lot of fun myself.
The Electric Fetus has hard to find music from Aerosmith to Zepplin. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the stuff is used and priced really easy on the wallet. They also sell tickets for concerts coming up in the area. You should stop here if you like music, even if you are just passing through.
We were making an Indian drum for a school project and found just what we were looking for at Superior beads. They have feathers, bone beads, and the buckskin items we were looking for along with some hard to find crafting items. I would suggest them to anyone who likes to make their own jewelry.

There's nothing like a coney from Coney Island deluxe. This was my favorite place to eat lunch when I worked off of Lake and 1st. The food is great and they make it when you walk in. The coney sauce is really tasty and their fries are my favorite in Duluth.
These guys have nice TV commercial and on the phone they seem professional, but when you get there you see that it's a lie. They are very unprofessional and are not very smart. They didn't secure the windows and doors and when I went to get my vehicle it smelled like mildew. It still smells that ... Read More
We usually go here once a month and pick up baked goods. The sourdough is great and always makes an incredible sandwich. They sliced my loaf for me and I really liked that personal service that I couldn't find a chain grocery store.
Johnson's bakery has a great supply of breads. I especially like their rye and the buns. We usually buy a couple dozen and then freeze whatever we have left if they make it that long.
We used Arthur's Formal Wear for my son's prom. The staff was helpful when we went to try on tuxes, but they seem to have been understaffed. Their selection is good and they keep the tuxedos there, so that is an advantage. I feel they were just average, though. Nothing special and they definitely... Read More
