Charburger
We stop here occasionally for a good mocha on our way through the area to start a local hike early in the morning. We have also had lunch here and the burgers our good, but the condiment wagon makes me wonder a bit about cleanliness.
Charburger Restaurant
The Charburger Restaurant is a landmark for people coming and going on Highway 84 in Oregon. It has great fast food, a cute gift shop and home made bakery items that you can take home. We usually plan our trips to include a stop there, going and coming and we have been doing this for years.
Fun and Fish!
I work at the visitors center across the dam from the hatchery and have stopped by this gift shop a few times, very cute stuff. And do not forget to visit Herman the 10 ft sturgeon!
Beautiful place
The park is a great place to have picnic. Its well kept and very nice. Also encourage you to take a ride on the sternwheeler and have dinner, very enjoyable.
GREAT ice cream!
This place has great ice cream for a great price!! It has a lot of flavor options and syrups that can be added. Make sure to stop by when its out hot!
great location information galore
While staying at this hotel I found there service to be good but there information on local recreation to be found in the gorge was very helpful and made our choices easier to make a plan for the day.
Good burgers & shakes
This is a fun place to eat you can have burgers or on Sunday's they have a brunch that will fill you up. The view is fantastic and the gift shop is great too.
Dont Stay
If you pay with a credit card they will add days on and say no refunds. Even if you were not staying so never stay there. Not a very clean enviorment. not well kept up. Owner is a very mean and not very professional.

homo motel
roger is a gay man who runs his place in a reckless manner. It should be a gay / lesbian establishment catering to the folks who don't mind a dirty room in lieu of a safe place to have private avenues to filthy behavior.
